MUSIC MINDSET OUTREACH PROJECT - MMOP
This is a project aimed at uplifting the conscience level on the performing arts.
We feel compelled to share our knowledge and encourage young musicians to seek music tuition to enable them to read and write music, thus producing a generation of literate musicians.
Through music we overcome boundaries, break down barriers, bring people together and embrace diverse cultures. Encouraging the love for arts, which stimulates children’s mind enhancing the ability to grasp learning material with ease, will help them to realize their full potential. We also intend on teaching the youth their social responsibility towards the environmental preservation.
TUCAN TUCAN comprises multicultural, seasoned and learned musicians (UCT graduates) with a unique music style which encompasses diverse music genres and languages. TUCAN TUCAN uncovers and explores music in all its aspects: A wealth of ideas, rhythms, sounds, instruments and songs. We believe in music as a tool to promote cultural interaction. In its new album MAKE A DIFFERENCE, the band takes a step forward into innovative ways of combining styles and languages to create new musical concepts.
Tucan Tucan, a proudly independent and passionate entity, reflectes its values through its compositions and performance: promoting cultural diversity, social interaction, social responsibility, integrity, respect, preservation of culture, individual freedom, gender equality.
