Muriel Marco together with Ghalik Jacobs were awarded the Gold Horn Award for best Music composition for the film Confessions of a Gambler screened in SA, North America, Dubai and Spain. Tucan Tucan tracks "Slow Jam" and "Conga Loca" were featured in this film.

Finalist in the International Songwriting Competition with Song "Esa Morena".

Tucan Tucan was given an Honourable Mention in the World Music category. Finalists were chosen from over 15,000 entrants from all over the world making this an exceptional achievement on Tucan Tucan's part.
